About Me

Hi there! My name is Morgan McGlasson and I am a second-year student at The University of Oklahoma majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Enterprise Studies. I am from Dallas, Texas, and intend to move back to Dallas after completing my education in Oklahoma. I am an active member of Alpha Lambda Delta, an academic fraternity for students with a 3.5 GPA or higher, and the Epsilon Alpha chapter of Chi Omega, a women's fraternity. I also participate in weekly meetings of OU's on-campus ministry group called Crossover. I help produce exceptional short-term projects for long-term clients through advanced PR techniques with a precise attention to detail and an enthusiasm for fast-paced environments.

Over the past few years, I have had the privilege and ability to work across many different job functions which have allowed me to cultivate my communication and problem-solving skills, and my ability to be goal oriented. In my most recent leadership role, I am a part of the Chi Omega sorority where I serve as the New Member Educator. In this space, I have been able to master the art of staying within a budget ($67,000), communicate finite details across many audiences, and negotiate with a variety of vendors to produce highly effective events. My role allows me to engage with new members by invoking enthusiasm in their pledge class, keeping our programming organized, and documenting all events through multiple social media platforms, such as Facebook and Instagram. My continued excitement for PR comes in way of this being my focus at The University of Oklahoma where I’m able to be equipped with all of the tools and techniques to be effective in a PR role, such as proficiency in AP Style writing and ability for a dynamic writing style.

In my free time, I love to be outdoors while either just laying out by the pool or running around my neighborhood and local parks. But to me, there is no better place to be outdoors than the beach. My hobbies include reading, shopping, and spending time with my friends and family.
